Teacher Safety & Labor Rights Commitment
Sentinel Shield is designed first and foremost as a teacher-controlled safety support system. It exists to protect educators, not to monitor, evaluate, or discipline them.
Our commitments are explicit:
Teacher Control
Sentinel Shield remains inactive unless a teacher manually initiates a help request.No Surveillance
Sentinel Shield does not record audio, video, or ambient data, and does not monitor teacher behavior, performance, or presence.No Passive Data Collection
No location or usage data is collected, stored, or transmitted unless a teacher chooses to activate the system.No Discipline or Evaluation Use
Sentinel Shield information may not be used for employee evaluation, progressive discipline, attendance monitoring, or performance management.Voluntary Use
Teachers are not required to activate Sentinel Shield. Non-use shall not result in reprimand or adverse employment action.Union Respect & Inclusion
Sentinel Shield supports collective bargaining rights. Any deployment is intended to occur in consultation with applicable teacher associations or unions.No Feature Drift Without Notice
Sentinel Shield functionality will not be materially altered in ways that impact teacher rights without prior disclosure and consultation.
Sentinel Shield is a safety accommodation, Not a surveillance tool.
